Boxes
All of these boxes are hand decorated and most of them are also handmade.
This box is of my own unique and one-off desigsn specifically made for a set of R.A.F. medals for a veteran in the R.A.F. The box is entirely handmade made of oak, teak and mahogany and the various parts of the crest individually cut are made of maple, basswood, beech and American walnut.

Dublin Airport
This is a shop bought box with a custom pyrographed (wood burned) picture of Dublin airport in the 1950s on the lid. the box was delayed on delivery so I had 15 hours to prepare the wood (including repairing some tear out in the box when it arrived), sand it, transfer the image and burn the entire thing.

This beautiful box was handmade by Harry Wells and is one of a number of WellSnazzie collaborations that we’ve worked on together. I was inspired by the eye-catching hand scalloped edges on the lid to pyrograph (wood burn) a reproduction of Aslan from “The Lion, the With and the Wardrobe” film poster. If you would like to see more details please

Japanese themed pyrographs burned into this beautifully hand made chisel box made by Harry.

Hand Decorated Hummingbird Box
This is a toolbox that I had which was looking rather plain and dull so I pyrographed 9woodburned) a hummingbird onto the lid.

Hand Decorated Otter Box

Hand Decorated Dolphin Box
This is a hand decorated dolphin inlaid marquetry and pyrographed design on a hexagonal shop-bought box.

Hand Decorated Celtic Pentaknot Box
This was one of my very first pyrographs(woodburnings). The pentaknot is of my own design burned onto a shop-borugh box.

Handmade Shell Lid Box
Handmade box with a shell as a lid.

These handmade boxes were the very beginning of what has now become a long list of continuing collaborations between myself and Harry Wells collectively known as WellSnazzie collaborations.
