Carving
This is a handmade, pyrographed (wood burned) and hand carved American kestrel carved from limewood (basswood). It is bas-relief carving on the limewood which was cut to shape using a scroll saw. It has a flat back making it suitable to be mounted on a wall.

This is a 1.6 x 0.5 metre slice of lime wood with a short story called “The Covenant” by Aldwarke hand burned into the the wood, and with illustrated carvings carved in around the text.
